Day Trips are designed with beginners in mind and depart from our Gananoque waterfront location at 110 Kate Street only.
This is a leisurely day touring the 1000 Islands, specifically the Admiralty and Lake Fleet Groups. Island-hop through a truly unique waterway. Unwind while exploring the islands up close. The 1000 Islands area is an integral part of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve, a member of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves.
Each Day Trip starts with a complete “Kayaking 101” lesson that ensures a safe and comfortable day on the water. The highlight of the day may very well be the Island Lunch. What can we say? This lunch is fantastic!
Swim, hike or just relax in the sun, it’s catered, let us do all the work!
The afternoon encourages more island exploration as we eventually head back.

Mornings (9 a.m. – 12 noon) ~ Afternoons (1 p.m. – 4 p.m.)
A sampling of the spectacular 1000 Islands scenery awaits you. Participants are provided the same instruction and paddling experience as with any full-day trip only a shorter distance is covered and lunch is not included.
Perfect for those visiting on tight schedules and for those unable to commit to a full-day for other reasons.
