Additional Course Info

Please note: The only difference between the Beginner and Flatwater course is the actual certification. You will be required to have a registered certification with Paddle Canada if you ever wish to progress through the higher level skills courses. Anyone interested in working in the industry or is leading groups such as community youth programs will be required to have this document. If your desire is to have the skills for your own recreational paddling and you do not wish to take more courses in the future, the certificate is not necessary and you can save some money!

Give us a call if you have any questions or would like to register for a course at 613-329-6265.

Other Courses we offer!

Intro to kayaking, 3 hours

This crash course on boat control and assisted rescue is designed to boost your confidence and apply a solid foundation to your paddling right from square one. This is a mandatory course for anyone wishing to participate in our fitness programs and recreational clubs. For these two programs, some people are interested in a solid cardio and strength training workout where others enjoy a more social pace. Either way, you will have a lot of freedom to explore the islands at your own pace making it necessary to ensure everyone participating has the fundamental skills in paddling safety. Take advantage of the calm, controlled environment with one of our nationally certified instructors so you are out having fun on the river in no time!
