Weekend Trips

A fantastic paddling escape while camping under the stars!

Prepare to launch into the Admiralty and Lake Fleet Island clusters for two nights of camping in the St. Lawrence Islands National Park. Paddling the 1000 Islands is our specialty and we can’t wait to wander deeper into the secret paddling treasures of the islands.

Day 1 – Introduction to the Islands

With access to several major paddling routes, we will decide as a group what section of the 1000 Islands to explore. There are several hiking opportunities, deep bays with towering cliffs, rich marshlands, multiple National Park Islands, shipwrecks, great swimming, fishing and tons of historical sites to paddle amongst. You can choose this day for either relaxing and rejuvenating, or for jumping in an unloaded boat and paddling as many kilometres as you can before the sun goes down! Come home to a change of warm clothes, great food and your comfortable sleeping bag for another island night under the stars.

Day 2 – Choose your own adventure

We invite you to choose your own group adventure. With access to several major paddling routes, we will decide what section of the 1000 Islands to explore. There are several hiking opportunities, deep bays with towering cliffs, rich marshlands, multiple National Park Islands, shipwrecks, swimming, fishing and endless historical sites to explore. Spend a great day on the water and come back to camp to a change of warm clothes, great food and a comfortable sleeping bag for another night on the island.

Day 3 – Admiralty Islands

Day 3 begins with a lazy breakfast and take down of camp. The rest of the day is spent wandering through the Admiralty Islands towards yet another national park island for lunch and swim break. We are off the water at 4:00 to give you enough time to clean up before your evening plans in Gananoque.
