2 night, 3 day Weekend Adventure

A fantastic paddling escape while camping under the stars!

Prepare to launch into the Admiralty and Lake Fleet Island clusters for two nights of camping in the St. Lawrence Islands National Park. Paddling the 1000 Islands is our specialty and we can’t wait to wander deeper into the secret paddling treasures of the islands.

Day 1 – Introduction to the Islands

Arrival time is 10:00 am on day 1. We will have all your equipment set up and waiting for you by the water’s edge. Meet your guides and cooks and take some time to sort through your personal belongings to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious weekend of camping out in the Park Islands. No need to worry about fitting all your gear into your kayak, we power boat shuttle all the gourmet food, wine and camping equipment to island most suitable for the tour. Only pack in your kayak what you need for the day. A detailed list of what to bring is included in the confirmation package.

Day 2 – Choose your own adventure

Once on the water, your guide will ensure everyone is comfortable with a kayaking 101 lesson before crossing into the Admiralty Fleet of islands. Let the adventure begin! Paddle over a 1920 ship wreck, learn the fascinating history of Half-Moon Bay and snap lots of pictures in the ‘class 1’ coastal wetlands accessible only to paddlers. Lunch and a swimming break is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the serenity of the National Park Islands.

Leisurely paddle for the afternoon to another National Park Island where your camping equipment, fresh stack of firewood and an amazing dinner awaits.

Day 3 – Admiralty Islands

Day 3 begins with a lazy breakfast and pack up of camp. The rest of the day is spent wandering through the Admiralty Islands towards yet another national park island for lunch and swimming breaks. We are off the water at 4:00 to give you enough time to clean up before your evening plans in Gananoque.

1 night Camping

For those paddlers seeking a shorter weekend escape, our 1 night option is a great opportunity to get away from it all. All your meals, camping equipment, park permits and route plans are taken care of for a hassle free adventure in the islands. Meeting time is 10:00 on day 1 and all your personal belongings will be power boat shuttled to a National Park Island. This trip is a condensed version of the 2 night, 3 day tour yet you still hit all the major highlights, eat amazing meals and sleep close to the water’s edge by a crackling fire.

Our camping trips are beginner friendly and no experience is necessary. Children are encouraged to participate and youth between the ages of 6-10 are required to paddle in a tandem kayak with a parent.
